School is back in session and that means Kid in the Corner is back too! We are excited to continue delivering our programming to schools across Arizona. This year, we are seeing an increased demand for our services as students struggle with mental health in the aftermath of Covid-19. Just this month we reached 600+ youth, giving them the tools skills and resources needed to begin reaching out to each other, taking care of their own mental health and be a safe and caring person others can talk to.
This year we anticipate reaching over 5,000 youth as we travel further to reach more districts, schools, and ultimately youth. More programming means more funds needed to help change and save lives. That is why we are so grateful for our Penny Pledge-A-Thon fundraiser this month. Every dollar donated helps us to continue providing mental health resources and programming at no cost to schools.
